Meet Our First Lady

LADY MORTON, a native of Maplesville, Alabama, has been actively engaged in Christian ministry her entire adult life, serving alongside her husband, Pastor Rodney T. Morton. Lady Morton is a devoted wife, mother, prayer warrior, and passionate educator.
Lady Morton is an advocate and educator engaged in civic and community engagement. She has been a Special Education teacher in Alabama and Maryland Public schools and continues advocating for students with special needs. Lady Morton has devoted herself to education, women’s empowerment, and supporting those with special needs. Inspired by
the Holy Spirit, Lady Morton organized “Sister Keepers,” a ministry focused on empowering, encouraging, and strengthening women. She was also the Children & Youth Ministry’s Coordinator and Events Planner.

Lady Morton embodies the character of the proverbial woman in Proverbs 31.

Lady Morton matriculated at Auburn University, earning a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education. Lady Morton continues her lifelong journey as an educator and spiritual leader as she connects and impacts those in her church and community. She pursues her passion for children with special needs with excellence as it continues to be a compelling call in her life.
In addition to being a loving wife and caring educator, Lady Morton is a devoted mother to their one son, Rylan Alexander Morton. Lady Morton is committed to servant leadership and educational excellence and serving faithfully alongside her husband. Lady Morton strives daily to be an example of a virtuous woman who yields to God in every area of her
life. She firmly believes that “the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” - James 5:16. ■
